Alain GODARD

CEO, European Investment Fund

Alain Godard has been the Managing Director of the EIF since January 2020. He was appointed to this post following his successful experience as Managing Director and Head of Risk Management at the European Investment Bank (EIB), during which he notably contributed to the design and implementation of the Investment Plan for Europe (IPE / Juncker Plan), the European Financial Stability Fund (EFSF) and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) ). He holds a postgraduate degree in finance, an MBA from ICN Business School, as well as a DEC and is an alumnus of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
