Frank AMBERG

Frank Amberg is a Managing Director at AltamarCAM Partners and Head of Infrastructure, Germany. With more than 25 years of experience in private markets, Frank has deep insights into alternative investments from a private and institutional investor perspective. Before joining AltamarCAM, he worked for more than 15 years at MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re, where he built a multi-billion investment portfolio in Private Equity and Infrastructure consisting of fund and direct investments. He was also active in operational asset management and held various board representations in portfolio companies across different infrastructure sectors. Before, Frank worked in the banking industry and specialized in Venture Capital and Growth Capital at WestLB Mellon Asset Management. Frank started his career in corporate M&A and worked in London, Paris and Madrid. Frank is also a Member of Invest Europe’s Limited Partners Platform Council and is the Chair of its Infrastructure Roundtable. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Passau.
