Biography
Claire Vernet-Garnier has been Director of Corporate Development, M&A and PMI of the Orange Group since July 2026. She was previously Advisor on Economy (Industry, Innovation, Digital and State's Holdings) to the President of the Republic for 3 years, a position she also held with the Prime Minister. Before that, she held senior positions in both the private and public sectors, notably in investment banking (Bank of America and Société Générale CIB), Euronext, InfraVia Capital Partners, and at the French State's Shareholding Agency (APE). With a solid experience in strategic operations, in equity capital markets and corporate governance, Claire has recognized expertise in the digital and telecommunications sectors, infrastructure and the defense industry.
