Biography
Barbara Thierart-Perrin, born in 1977, earned an engineering degree in France and studied sales and marketing in the USA.
Her 20-year career in the automotive industry encompassed various responsibilities in engineering, program and planning, strategy, business, and after-sales. Following 18 years at Renault, she joined Nissan, overseeing products and programs in Africa, the Middle East,
and India for 3 years.
For the past 3 years, she served as CEO of the "systems” BU at Northvolt, focusing on industrial customers, energy storage and the automotive sector. This role granted her full P&L responsibility and oversight of strategy, product development, R&D, supply chain, business development, sales, manufacturing, quality, and after-sales.
Barbara's extensive industry experience spans both operations and governance. Her expertise was cultivated through an international career, during which she lived and worked in France, Japan, and Sweden.
Currently, she is a board member innovative and leading companies in the advanced materials and electric vehicle charger sectors.
Since January 2025, Barbara is the innovation and development director at Veolia.
