Vincent GIRARD

Vincent Girard joined the European Investment Bank in 2009. Since 2021, he has been heading the Project Finance Unit covering Southern European countries including Italy, Spain and Portugal, focusing on Renewable Energy, PPPs (rail, hospitals, universities) and Telecom (data centres, fibre networks) transactions. Vincent has been working on the origination and execution of structured finance operations for almost 20 years, initially working at Natixis in Spain (2006-2009) and then at the EIB where he covered both EU and non-EU countries (Africa and Latin America). Vincent holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Marseille and a Master in Business Administration from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP). In 2023, he completed a postgraduate course in European Studies from the Institut National du Service Public (INSP).
